Redesigned InLoox Now! Web App
InLoox 9 includes a totally redesigned Web App with a sleek and modern interface. A new feature called Workplace is the central place to manage project tasks as well as personal to-dos. It is an efficient tool for project managers as they organize time and priorities. From Workplace, they are also able to stay up-to-date with messages, alerts, notifications and any other important communication. It combines task list with a global calendar, so that tasks, project activities and milestones are displayed together and updated real-time.
Other New Features
The InLoox Now! Web App comes with an internal chat for quick and easy collaboration. Even if the project team is geographically distributed, communication is faster and easier. And they do not have to work only with Microsoft Windows, because using the Web App automatically synchronizes with InLoox for Outlook, making sure everyone is on the same page, regardless if they are using Microsoft or Mac OS or a mobile device.
A new role called Collaborator enables users to access Workplace in the InLoox Web App in a limited fashion. Users with this role are allowed to create their own tasks and work on those assigned to them. This role is particularly helpful to those who are involved only temporarily with the team. They are still able to collaborate with the rest but will not be able to access other areas.
Project Management Software Solution
The new InLoox 9 Web App has a project notes function that allows users to exchange information seamlessly, making it easier to solve problems, preserve ideas and document best practices. A new Publications feature makes it possible to take recurring or similar elements from one project plan and publish it in another. Overall project organization is improved with to-do checklists, document management and file attachment features. Kanban boards for agile task management and an interactive Gantt chart for high level project progress tracking are also included for a complete solution.
Updated for Outlook
InLoox Now! for Outlook has been updated as well, allowing users to work on tasks, plan projects, manage documents, track time and more, using a familiar interface. With the latest enhancements, emails can be converted to tasks quickly. A global calendar now displays project tasks, milestones, activities and personal tasks that automatically syncs with the Web App for any changes.
