G Suite is Google’s suite of cloud apps packaged for business. The tools enhance communication and collaboration with email, chat, and video conferencing software that you can quickly and seamlessly access from the web or any of its set of tools. The platform allows you to work with your team simultaneously on shared documents and plans. And all important files are organized, searchable, and safely stored in one place, accessible and up-to-date from a variety of devices.

  • Project Planning and Monitoring – G Suite includes apps that create plans, task lists, work request forms, and other important documents. It includes Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides, as well as Sites for building and hosting business websites; Apps Script, a low-code platform to help automate, integrate, and extend G Suite apps; and Keep, an online note-taking app that helps you get organized and create to-do lists. You can create dynamic project plans with Sheets and Apps Script to manage and track projects, tasks, and deadlines. Use Sites to create a project hub where you keep updates, timelines, and deliverables, among others. Project proposals, meeting agendas, and team reports can be created using Docs.
  • Team Collaboration – The productivity app also includes popular communication and collaboration tools like Gmail, Calendar, Currents, Hangouts Chat, and Hangouts Meet. Gmail is a flexible app that can serve as your communication hub. You can automatically sort and prioritize messages, use filters and labels, and create tasks from messages. Integration allows you to chat or video call directly from your inbox. You can keep your team updated using Calendar with shared project calendars to track milestones and deadlines. With Currents, you can build a community within your organization to communicate ideas and get feedback.
  • Document Management, Powerful Search, User Admin, and more – G Suite also includes Drive for online file storage. You can store, access, and share project files in a secured place. It uses AI to predict and connect important content with users that may require their attention. As a business platform, G Suite comes with advanced administration and control apps such as Admin to manage user, devices, and security settings; Vault to archive, search, and export information; Endpoint for additional device and data security; and Work Insight for reporting trends and analytics. G Suite apps are also available in the Android platform.

Pricing

G Suite offers several premium plans. The Basic plan is offered at an introductory price of $4.20 per user per month for 12 months to the first 20 users on new accounts. After 12 months, that price increases to $6 per user per month. The Business plan introductory price to the first 20 new users is at $9.60 per user per month, which then becomes $12 per user per month after 12 months. The Enterprise plan starts at $25 per user per month.

All plans include the same number of apps, except for the Basic plan which does not include Cloud Search. All plans also include 24/7 support by phone, email, and online, with the Enterprise plan having the most security and management features. File storage per user is 30GB for the Basic plan, unlimited for Business and Enterprise for 5 or more users, or 1TB for less than 5 users. A free trial period of 14 days is available.
