You can regenerate your personal ClickUp API key any time, but keep in mind that your existing ClickUp API key will no longer work and you won’t be able to access your ClickUp account.

Create an OAuth app

If you’re an advanced user, you can build an app or ClickUp API integration for other ClickUp users to authorize specific Workspaces for your app. In this case, you would need to create an OAuth app to use the OAuth2 flow. This flow provides an access token you can include in the Authorization header of your API requests.
