Planview Projectplace Logo

Projectplace is an online project management software that lets teams plan and organize work with others within and outside the organization. It enables them to set a goal and create a plan. From the traditional Gantt chart view, they can share tasks, collaborate, and visualize progress on Kanban boards. Individual members stay in control of their commitments and tasks with their personal to-do lists, while the whole team move towards the goal with more advanced tools.

Features, Benefits, Product Strengths

  • Goal-driven PlanningProjectplace online project management provides users with a Gantt-centered planning approach where goals and deliverables are broken down into a hierarchy of activities. The visual chart enables users to list their goals, set priorities and hierarchies, and add timestamps to schedule these goals. The timeline shows a graphic representation of the project, including all major steps and accomplishments, from inception to completion. Lowest level hierarchy work items can be pinned to a team board to require action from team members. As they complete their work, true progress is automatically reported back to the chart.
  • Visual Progress Tracking – This project management tool in the cloud help teams get their day-to-day tasks done while keeping everyone engaged and updated anytime, all the time. Its agile Kanban board allows users to assign tasks to persons most suitable for the job but also get a clear overview of their progress. Simple drag and drop technology allows them to move cards across columns but also allowing flexibility to change column names to represent the team’s workflow. Each card is connected to an activity at the Gantt chart, but also holds information such as estimate work effort, due date, comments, or attached files.
  • Document Management, Real-time Communications, To-do List, Mobile Apps, and more – Projectplace has a document management tool that allows project members to access important files anytime, anywhere. They can share and collaborate on all documents using the different tools in the software. Content can be viewed, organized, and shared from multiple devices, and they can share documents with external partners as well. Users can use the conversations tool to gather feedback, or use @mentions to communicate directly with a team member. Other features include personal to-do lists visible only to the individual team member, a calendar that syncs with task deadlines, notifications to keep everyone in the loop, various types of charts to show team performance, native mobile apps for iOS and Android, cutting edge security, top class support, and more.
