Projectplace is an online project management software that lets teams plan and organize work with others within and outside the organization. It enables them to set a goal and create a plan. From the traditional Gantt chart view, they can share tasks, collaborate, and visualize progress on Kanban boards. - Goal-driven Planning – Projectplace online project management provides users with a Gantt-centered planning approach where goals and deliverables are broken down into a hierarchy of activities. The visual chart enables users to list their goals, set priorities and hierarchies, and add timestamps to schedule these goals. The timeline shows a graphic representation of the project, including all major steps and accomplishments, from inception to completion. Lowest level hierarchy work items can be pinned to a team board to require action from team members. As they complete their work, true progress is automatically reported back to the chart.

Pricing
Projectplace starts at $29 per user per month when billed annually. It includes unlimited projects and a flexible number of users. The Enterprise version includes features such as document management, project dashboard, SSO, workload management, integrations/API, online meetings, project templates, project portfolios, and report management. A 14-day trial period is available.

Projectplace International AB was founded in 1998 by Magnus Ingvarsson and Mattias Hällström in Stockholm, Sweden. The software became a leading project collaboration application in the cloud. In 2014, Projectplace was acquired and became a subsidiary of Planview, a leader in portfolio and resource management. It is a privately held software development company based in Austin, TX, USA. It was founded by Patrick Durbin. In January 2017, Planview announced that it is being acquired by Thoma Bravo, a leading private equity firm. Thoma Bravo LLC is a successor to the firm of Golder Thoma and Co. established in Chicago, IL, USA in 1980.
