Case Studies

Vincent Ozanne is Director of Hotel Openings for India, Middle East, Africa, and Turkey at a large hospitality management company. The company uses Taskworld to manage hotel openings. But when the pandemic became a global issue, Ozanne and team had to re-purpose the PM tool and use it to temporarily close hotels safely, quickly, and in an organized manner.

Taskworld enabled the company to monitor the suspension of its properties. It became mandatory to report on each hotel’s status through the tool. Using the guest feature, Ozanne invited all Genera Managers under his jurisdiction to update the status of their own hotels. A dedicated project that included checklists and guidelines was also created to ensure the safe reopening of the hotel that implements intensified hygiene and prevention measures.

Marcel Portofoé is the CEO and founder of a digital marketing agency based in Hamburg, Germany. With a strong focus on internal documentation, Portofoé tried building an information system and organizing projects to help every new team member learn how to work with the company’s clients and embrace the company’s strategic vision. But he realized that the company also needed to reduce emails for both internal and external communication.

Taskworld provides the company a single platform for project management, transparent project documentation, and a structured and centralized communication channel. During the evaluation process, the company also suggested a couple of features that would be important. They were pleasantly surprised to receive a timeline for the release of the features, which Portofoé and company now enjoy utilizing.
