All project documents stays in the system and ready for future reference. Native iOS and Android apps are also available so project team members can stay updated even on the go. It also works seamlessly with cloud-storage apps, Excel, email, GoToMeeting, Calendar, Zendesk, Freshbooks, Evernote, Zapier and more. It also has an API that is exposed for use by developers. Podio offers several pricing plans on a per employee per month basis. It can be paid on a month-to-month basis or on an annual basis. For instance, the Basic plan is priced at $9 on a month-to-month, but is discounted at $7.20 when paid on an annual basis. The Basic plan includes for task management, user management, and unlimited external users. The Plus plan has additional automated workflows, a Light User role, and read-only access. The Premium plan has additional advanced features like Contact sync, interactive sales dashboards, and advanced workflow orchestration. An custom enterprise plan is also available that includes priority support and training, and other features.

Company Info

Podio was a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company founded in 2009 by Anders Pollas, Jon Froda, and Kasper Hulthin. It launched to the public in 2011 and immediately took in clients like Greenpeace, InMobi and Rebate Networks. With the idea of changing how people get work done, it offered options other than email and spreadsheets. The workspace software also provided people the ability to build task-specific apps and share it in the system’s app market. In April 2012, Citrix Systems, a publicly traded American multinational company based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and founded in 1989, acquired Podio. Now under Citrix Online Services Division, Podio will help extend the company’s ability to provide a simple and secure collaborative work platform.
