New Feature: Task Checklists
Mavenlink online project management software has an organized and easy-to-use task management system. In addition to capabilities of tracking time and budget, attaching files, and syncing with Google tasks, it is now possible to add checklists. In the Task Details view, users can add subtasks or items that can be ticked off once completed. So aside from having a task description, users now can list down the things necessary to complete the task and then easily mark it when completed.
New Premier Feature: Custom Fields
When managing multiple projects and its components, it may be necessary to add specific project information to better organize all the things users have on their plate. A new feature available to Mavenlink Premier subscriber is the Custom Fields. These special fields can be created, edited or deleted by account administrators at the Account settings area. Once created, any user can fill out these Custom Fields, which can provide the project team additional information, such as project code or department address. These fields appear in the project information and are searchable as well.
New Premier Feature: Time and Expense Approvals
Mavenlink has robust time and expense management features that allow users to track time as they collaborate with the team and complete their work. Users can also create invoices that may include time, expenses or fixed-fee deliverables. Efforts can be tracked and accounted for accurately. With the new Time and Expense Approvals feature available to Premier subscribers, a Team Lead or Project Lead can review time and expense entries of the team, as well as their timesheets, before passing it to the accounting department or the owner to send the invoice to the client.
This feature can be turned on at the project settings or be set on by default by going to the Account Settings. Now, billing of multiple projects is faster and more accurate. Furthermore, the addition of the review process in the workflow improves oversight of the business practice. Therefore, the charging company can be confident that only approved billable items make their way on the client invoice. Also, even though the company is working on multiple projects, the additional approval process ensures that items being billed have gone through careful review of a responsible and authorized person with close-hand information of the effort.
