Fieldwire construction management software lets users view, edit, and share blueprints, construction plans, and as-built drawings in real time from the web or using Fieldwire’s native apps on iOS and Android devices. The floor plan app syncs automatically and works even when offline, and ensures users can manage large numbers of drawings. The software extracts drawing numbers and version sheets automatically and issues warnings when detecting conflicts. Users can redline drawings while out in the field with markup tools like color-coded freeform lines, highlighters, clouds, arrows, and text comments. They can attach files and progress photos directly to construction drawings. The software automatically transfers all tasks and markups to the newest uploaded sheet, so as-built drawings are always accurate. Its BIM viewer gives a 360-degree model view with metadata on specific elements and tools for measurements.

Task Management, Scheduling, and Inspection

Jobsite task management enables users to create and assign tasks, then quickly share files and photos. Users can set priority, category, due date, and assignee to each work. Crew scheduling lets teams coordinate all upcoming tasks and items using Kanban priority, Gantt chart, or calendar view. The software can dispatch recorded information in plans and advanced sessions to all team members onsite. Users can set custom inspection lists, carry out inspections themselves, and generate the building inspection report.

Punch List, Reports, Forms, and More

Fieldwire includes punch list functionality that includes the location of issues on the blueprints to facilitate the closeout process. Users can run the walkthrough process faster and assign work directly to people responsible for the task with attached manpower, cost estimates, and notes. Some of the reports available are punch list reports, construction progress reports, inspection reports, handover, and construction closeout reports. The software automatically generates PDF summaries and detailed reports as well as detailed CSV that users can easily export, reference, customize, manipulate, and analyze.
