  • Task, Workflow and Project Management ‚Äì Podio project management software allow users to create and assign tasks in a structured and social way. They can assign tasks, attach files, and discuss details by adding comments. They can also add reminders so they get notified when a task is due. Recurring tasks can be set up for routine to-do’s. Tasks can be integrated with work and be automated using workflows. Workflows can create new tasks when needed. Users can create tasks and attach files using their mobile devices, and get reminders of upcoming deadlines.

Activity Streams display the latest activity from the apps in the workspace and status posts from members of the workspace. Users can comment on anything for in-context real-time discussions. Comments can include text, images, files and links. A built-in chat enables instant messaging and video calling with anyone connected in the software. It also integrates with GoToMeeting apps.
  • File-sharing, Calendars, Mobile Apps, Integrations and more ‚Äì Podio allows users to share files anywhere, be it part of a status post, a chat message, a task attachment, and others. It also integrates with many cloud storage file sharing services. Customizable calendars give users the option to view events and deadlines either directly related to the user, or an overview related to the whole department or company. It includes a personal calendar and a workspace calendar, as well as calendar integrations. Extensions are add-ons developed by third parties for specific use cases, such as dashboards, menus, VoIP phone system, and more. The software integrates with email and Google Task, and supports Excel import and export. Podio native mobile apps can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. An open API and software development kits for both the iOS and Android platforms are available.

Pricing

Podio offers simple pricing plans. A Free plan is available for up to 5 employees. It includes task management, apps, and workspaces features. The Basic plan at $9 per employee per month includes additional user management features and unlimited external users. The Plus plan at $14 per employee per month includes all Basic features plus automated workflows, light user role, and read only access. The Premium plan at $24 per employee per month includes all the advanced features. Custom plans and pricing for larger teams are available upon contacting the support team. Annual subscription results in savings.
