Overview Presentation

LetsBuild is the newly combined software of GenieBelt and APROPLAN. It is an all-in-one solution that helps users update and track their project plans in real time, and get project overviews and insights from a centralized platform. Field workers with their mobile app can access the latest documents and drawings on site, and collaborate across teams and locations with onsite progress reporting. With the new solution, customers are able to streamline their processes, adapt quickly to changes, and deliver projects more efficiently.

Features, Benefits, Strengths

  • Planning and CommunicationLetsBuild enables users to build project schedules and help it get updated from the field straight to the master plan. Information from site is carried directly into the 3-6 week plan, which can then be synced with the master plan. The Photos feature allows users to attach photo documentation or points to drawings directly from mobile devices. Lean Planning includes real-time planning, task-based communication, linking to main schedule, material and resource management, and automated compliance. Progress Reporting allows workers to quickly and easily submit updates through the mobile app. This updates the project plan instantly. Communication tools enable all stakeholders to communicate and report on the same platform in real time, greatly reducing errors and misunderstandings. Features include a daily log, centralized source of information, and organized communication with the right info for the right people at the right time.
  • Conformity and Compliance – The construction software help standardize tools and processes by providing an alternative to Excel sheets, frequent phone calls, long email threads, and misplaced paper notes. It has a Defect Management feature that helps users multi-task with a user friendly UI, and a Drawings tool that allows for collaboration and side-by-side comparison. A modern and digitized Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) checklist allows them to standardize compliance processes that are easier to carry out. Features for conducting inspections such as forms and workflows, and integrated Health and Safety processes help avoid incidents.
  • Digitalization and Reporting – LetsBuild is a platform that helps digitize processes and streamlines project management and execution. All data, such as drawings and photos are centralized in an accessible but secure platform. Easy-to-use mobile apps enable workers to use it immediately and report progress from Day 1. The Reports feature allows users to easily link and trace back their information from data stored in the platform. Documenting progress on site is easy, so automated reporting and follow-up are based on accurate logs and references. Other features include report templates and PDF report generator. It also has several integration to popular products such as Excel, Tableau, Sharepoint, SAP, Trello, and Zapier, among others.

Testimonials

Raul Hernandez Sosa stated that LetsBuild gives them the ability to have control of what is happening on the site in real time. The real-time schedule and onsite planning tools give them complete vision of the construction site and of the multiple teams collaborating to get work done. As a result, the suppliers, the main office, procurement personnel, onsite workers, and subcontractors are all connected, and managers are aware of everything.

Matt Ghinn recalled that he was introduced to the platform on a Wednesday, and had it set up on Thursday. He briefed his team on Friday, and they were using the software by the weekend. Immediately, they got great returns. LetsBuild allowed them to save time because it automatically generates reports from information in the system. They were able to reap the benefit, and people now have more time to get an idea of what their job is, and deliver it safely on site.

Why LetsBuild

LetsBuild seamlessly combine into one tool the planning and progress communication features of GenieBelt, and the workflow digitalization and day-to-day QHSE activities management of APROPLAN. Instead of using multiple tools, customers can now use an end-to-end platform with all the needed tools for the construction phase, able to link scheduled tasks to quality checklists, and update everything back to digitized master plans. This all-in-one tool enables users to execute projects faster and deliver them efficiently.

Company Info

LetsBuild is the new company from merged companies of Copenhagen-based GenieBelt and Brussels-based APROPLAN. In January 2019, the two construction software companies executed a 50-50 merger to become one company that builds and provides all their customers one true solution that is seamlessly connected, instead of just having an integration between apps. Both companies were founded in 2012, and now have dual headquarters in Copenhagen and Brussels, with offices in London, UK; Paris, France; Lodz, Poland; Dubai, UAE; and Berlin, Germany. Klaus Nyengaard has been chosen to head the company. Klaus is a co-founder of GenieBelt, an angel investor in Denmark’s startup community, and has proven track record in scaling companies.
