Wrike is helping co-located and distributed teams work together better to complete projects faster. With innovative features, day-to-day work continues to get easier and more transparent for its customers. Early this year, the company announced new features that will keep projects from getting derailed, whether from unexpected changes or lost communication. Five new report templates are now available, as well as video proofing and approval add-on, advanced markup tools, and an extension for Adobe Premier.
New Report Templates
Wrike has new Report Templates that can assist project managers and team members to be more proactive in identifying problems. The new templates can generate a report for the following:
- Active Tasks by Assignee
- Weekly Project Status
- Overdue Tasks by Assignee
- Projects Due This Month
- Unassigned Tasks
With the help of these report templates, users can instantly see if there are team members who are overloaded, so work can be redistributed across the team. A status report can address any poor visibility on projects, allowing the team to review work and take action especially to those with at-risk status. Overdue tasks can be spotted so that they can be rescheduled or reassigned. If there are projects getting forgotten, the reports will clearly surface them based on deadlines. Finally, if there are still unassigned tasks, they can be assigned to available resources.
Build Custom Reports
Wrike enables its users to build custom reports from scratch with its 4-step wizard. Now, they can also quickly edit reports created from templates, and add customized filters and groupings to make it more relevant.
Share Reports and Schedule Notifications
Users can share interactive reports to other teams, to clients and other stakeholders easily. The recipients can further sort the report to quickly find what is important for them. They can also subscribe to scheduled report notifications, which will notify them of the availability of reports through their inbox and email.
New Video Proofing and Approval Add-on
Wrike provides a project management solution to different kinds of teams. In particular, it helps creative teams go through their workflows, from the idea and planning stage, through to the creation, review, approval, launching and reporting stages. A new video proofing and approval add-on is now included to customers of Wrike for Marketers. It is also available as an add-on feature to Pro, Business and Enterprise account customers. This add-on helps video professionals in the review and approval process of their projects, keeping all feedback in a centralized and tracked platform as an audit trail.
Users now have a centralized and efficient storage of all their video assets. It supports MP4, FLV, MOV, 3GP, and AVI formats as well as YouTube links, all of which can be attached to a task. Also, users can easily put contextual comments on specific time markers. Moreover, clicking on a comment directly transfers to the specific time of the video.
Advanced Markup Tools
This latest Wrike version also includes advanced markup tools that allow users to use arrows, free draw or rectangles. These provide a more descriptive and accurate feedback on images or videos. They can also be used to highlight specific lines of text on PDF files to direct user attention.
Creative Cloud Extension for Adobe Premier
For tighter collaboration, Wrike also announced an extension for Adobe Creative Cloud users. Video editors who work on rough cuts using Adobe Premier can now be included in the workflow and collaborate with the rest of the team. The editors can now receive comments on their work directly inside Adobe Creative Cloud, and not having to switch apps.
