PMP Exam Preparation – A Training Course

udemy logoCourse Description

Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam Preparation is a Udemy course designed for one specific purpose: to help students pass the PMP certification examination on their first try. The PMI’s Project Management Professional certification is respected and recognized all over the world. Today, the certification is increasingly becoming a requirement from candidates for a project manager or related position. It has also become a valuable qualification for professionals to advance their careers.

This course is a PMP boot camp class based on a fast-paced 4-day classroom or webinar course that teaches students how to pass the PMP exam. It is not meant to teach PM fundamentals or how to manage projects. Its focus is to impart only enough knowledge and techniques for students to successfully pass the certification exam, nothing more, nothing less. Aside from covering the course materials, it will provide tips and tricks such as what to look out for in exam questions.

Student Requirements

The course itself is open to all levels of participants. However, to be eligible for the PMP or CAPM certification examinations, the PMI has published certain requirements. For example, students should be able to show a certain number of hours recently spent as a project lead, equivalent management experience and/or project management education.

Course Objectives and Learnings

By the end of the PMP Exam Preparation course, the student would have listened to about 86 video lectures with 13 hours of content. They would have gone over the 5 process groups and 10 knowledge areas as specified in the PMBOK Fifth Edition. The students also would have taken short quizzes after every chapter and would have accessed 80 pages of answers to the questions.

Target Audience

This course is for those who are planning to take the PMI’s PMP or CAPM certification examination.

Curriculum/Chapters

PMP Exam Preparation course is divided into 14 sections. Section 1 introduces what the PMP exam is, the type of questions and other matters in 4 video lectures.
